We have many fond memories of Alan. With love and thanks for happy times. Emma and David
Thank you Alan for being such a loving Godfather. From an early birthday at Hourtin (you bought me an Airfix Wellington Bomber) to gifting me an aerobatic pattern ship in my teens - you nurtured my love of flying and it was a privilege to be able to take you out for a trip around the east coast after I obtained my PPL. But many more memories than just flying. Family holidays, Chalfont canoeing, sailing, horses (perhaps more Janet), dogs (Bandit and a long-haired deer hound - sorry forgot his name but he ran like the wind) and Catty. Throughout, you were always very calm, kind, always ready to listen and help me learn and grow. All my love to Janet, Sarah, Poppy and everyone else whose lives you touched.
